SANDLIN

Mr. Houston C. Sandlin, 56, of 1 Haven Court, died Monday in a local hospital.

Mr. Sandlin was a native of Lake City, Fla. and had resided in Pensacola for several years. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the DAV.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Eunice E. Sandlin; a son, Jack Sandlin of Live Oak, Fla.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Marie A. Shull of Los Angeles, Calif.; three grandchildren, Gary Shull of Washington, D.C., and Miss Debra Schull and Brad Schull, both of Pensacola and a brother, Gaston Sandlin of Gadsen, Ala.

Graveside funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Barrancas National Cemetery with the Rev. W. L. Adams officiating, and full military honors being presented.

The funeral cortège will leave the chapel at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
