GRACIE LEE PUGH JOHNSON, 72, Hamilton, died on Monday, October 19, 1992, in the Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence. A native of Marion County, she was the daughter of the late James Buck and Ethel Susan Draper York. She was a member of the Hamilton Free Will Baptist Church and had worked for Guin Health Tex for several years.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 21, 1992, at 2 p.m. from the First Free Will Baptist Church with burial in the Marion Memorial Gardens. Rev. James Walden, Dr. Richard Cordell and Rev. Phil Kimbrough were the officiating ministers.
Survivors include her husband - O.Z. Johnson, Hamilton; daughter and son-in-law - Carolyn and Raymond Zoglmann, Guin; son - Barney Pugh, Winfield; two sisters - Maxine Watkins, Albany, Ga. and Essiline Allgood, Tifton, GA.; three brothers - L.A. York, Guin, DeOtis York, Tifton, GA; Clifton York, Quincy, FL.; four grandchildren - Melinda Kilgore, Vickie Emerson, Chris Pugh, and Kandy Inman; two great-grandchildren - Nathan and Elizabeth Kilgore; two step-sons and a step-daughter.
Norwood Funeral Home of Guin directed the services.
