Wednesday Rites For Mrs. Adkins
Funeral services for Mrs. J. B. Adkins, 73, of Purdon, who died Monday afternoon at the family home, were held from the First Baptist church in Purdon Wednesday at 2 p. m.
Wife of James Benjamin Adkins; daughter of William Love Mott and Barbara Penelope (Rhea) Mont.
The rites were conducted by Rev. Chester L. Reames, pastor.
Burial was in the Dresden cemetery.
Surviving are her husband and a son, N. L. Adkins, both of Purdon; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Pallbearers were Clyde Boldin, Arthur Boldin, Haddix Boldin, Howe French, Autry French and Albert Bittner.
Corley directed.
