Memorial services for Ronald Thomas Bell of Grass Valley will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Nevada City chapel of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary. Burial will be at Sierra Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Nevada City.
Mr. Bell died Saturday, Aug. 7, at a local hospital. He was 64.
He was born Oct. 5, 1939, in Los Angeles County, to F.L. "Ray" and Lovera (Kennedy) Bell. He worked as a clerk at Rite Aide Photo Department. He was working towards his pilots license and enjoyed flying.
He is survived by his mother, Lovera Bell Dudman of Grass Valley; daughter, Deborah Diane Cazden of Venice, CA; sister, Dee Quebec of Long Beach; and two grandsons, Timothy and Devon.
He was preceded in death by his father, F.L. "Ray" Bell, in 1981, and his beloved sister Lorae Darla Bell in 1951.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Foothills.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
