John Younglove married twice. The first wife was Patience Winters daughter of Ensign John and Abigail Winters.
They were married at Killingly CT. or Canterbury on
15 July 1715. Her birth in 1698 she died abt. 1714/15.
John Younglove moved to Windham Co, CT in 1711/12 Killingly
Township, later when more settlers moved in the more sparsely settled area where John lived the area was set off from Killingly and was named Thompson. It was a very wild section of country at the time (1711) and there were only two or three other families. Their farms were infested with bears, wolves and Indians. A log fort or garrison was found needful for protection.
I am assuming that he moved there with his first wife Patience and that she died in childbirth.
John remarried in 1724 to Jemima Price
He joined the church in Killingly, CT. in 1715 where he later died.

Notes from Colleen J. Nielson:
With the discovery of the death date given on the headstone inscription of one John Younglove in Killingly, who died 28 Mar 1753, age 75 years 5 months, 17 days, which translates almost exactly with the birth record in Ipswich of 29 Aug 1677. This as well as the will extraction listed below; there can be little doubt that this John is the son of Samuel and Sarah (Kinsman) Younglove

Will of John Younglove date 15 Jan 1753.
1. To Jemima, my wife, one room in my dwelling house in Killingly with the use of the cellar under the same, also delivered to her yearly so much of the income of my estate as shall be necessary for her comfortable maintenance and support in sickness and in health. She should have one horse for her use and one good cow kept for her in winter and summer by my son Samuel, so long as she shall remain my widow and if my beloved wife shall see cause to marry again after my decease, my will is that she shall have one frying pan and forty pounds in bills of credit paid to her by my son John out of my estate.

2. I give and bequeath unto my beloved son John Younglove two certain tracts of land situated in Killingly. The one being the northern part of the farm I now dwell on description follows.

3. I give and bequeath unto my beloved son Samuel Younglove all the remaining part of the farm I now dwell on, description follows.

4. I give to my beloved daughter Sarah Younglove, 2 hundred pounds.

5. I give to my beloved daughter Jemima 2 hundred pounds.

6. I give and bequeath to my beloved grandson Younglove Cutler, son of my daughter Patience Cutler, deceased, the sum of 60 pounds when he shall arrive at the age of twenty-one years.

7. I give and bequeath to my beloved granddaughter of said deceased Patience Cutler, the sum of forty pounds when she shall arrive at eighteen years of age.

Hale Collection, Connecticut Cemetery Inscriptions. This cemetery inscription seems to be for John Younglove. However, there are two errors. First, the name is spelled Younglone and second, the date is given as Mar 28, 1733 instead of 1753. Age is given as 75 yrs. 5 mos. and 17 das. which by calculation makes his birth date as 29 Aug 1677 which is correct according to the Ipswich vital records.

John Younglove (11500401)

Suggested edit: You calculate his birthdate as 1677, yet you link him as a son of Samuel (Memorial 33003018) who was born in 1675. I do not believe both can be correct, since the father would only have been two years old at the time of his birth.
