Mrs. Lydia Pearce, widow of Albert Pearce and a resident of the Rockwood Nursing home at Troy for the past several years, died at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph hospital, Highland. She had attained the age of 82 years, 9 months and 24 days. Formerly of Alhambra, Mrs. Pearce had been admitted to the hospital Thursday morning.
The deceased was a daughter of the late Frederick and Martha Bartlett Berger.
Survivors include a son, Milton, Apache Junction, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Pearce, Marine, and Mrs. Orley Martin, who lives in Florida; a brother, Fred Berger; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Dauderman-Halleman funeral home in Alhambra after 12 noon Saturday until 2 p.m. Sunday when final rites will be held. Burial will be in Bartlett cemetery in Pin Oak township.
Pallbearers were Henry Schuette, Ed Braundmeier, Adolphus Kaugman, Augustus Kaufman, Harold Landolt and Robert Pearson.
