Buzz Saw Gets Jammed; Mill Owner Fatally Hurt
Board Broken From Log Causes Death of William T. Robinson, Of Anne Arundel County
Struck by a board thrown from a log in which the buzz saw he was operating had caught, William T. Robinson. proprietor of the saw mill at Robinson's Station, 10 miles from Annapolis, and a life-long resident of Anne Arundel county, was fatally injured yesterday. Rushed to Baltimore on the electric line, Mr. Robinson died a few minutes after reaching University Hospital
The accident occurred at 3 o'clock when Mr. Robinson was working with several employes. The saw jammed in a log and a board, torn free from the log, struck him in the head and breast.
Employes carried Mr. Robinson to the W. B. & A. Station. Dr. James S. Dillingales, of Glenburnie, after giving first aid, placed Mr. Robinson aboard the next train coming to this city.
Mr. Robinson, who was 60 years old, was born near Robinson Station, which was named after his father, and had lived in the immediate vicinity all his life. Surviving are a widow, Mrs. Lizzie L. Robinson; a daughter, Miss Laura E. Robinson; a brother, James M. Robinson, of Baltimore, and four sisters, Mrs. S. F. Norris, Miss Clemina Robinson and Miss Helen Robinson, all of this city, and Mrs. Alton Arnold, of Anne Arundel county.
