S. Dee Bingham, age 82, passed away on August 3, 2013 at his home after complications of a stroke. Dee was a kind and loving husband to his wife of 63 years, Barbara Lee Bingham, the light of his life. Dee and Barbara lived in Utah all their lives. They had two sons, Reed (Areta) Bingham, Syracuse; and Rex (Debbie) Bingham, Washington Terrace; and three daughters, Terry (Jay) Spendlove, Ogden; Diane (Curtis) Larkin, Layton; and Debbie (Kim) Cherry, Washington Terrace. Dee leaves behind 27 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Dee was born on January 22, 1931 to Louis and Jessie Bradshaw Bingham. He was preceded in death by both parents and his sister, Betty Johnston.

He retired from Hill Air Force Base after 32 years in the Missile and Aircraft Division. He served in the Korean War with the Air Force.

Dee coached his son's little league baseball. He will be remembered by his grandchildren for all his support of all their activities. For over 40 years, Dee supported most Bonneville High sporting activities. He walked several miles every day, rain or shine! He was a quiet man that taught through example.

Dee was involved in all our lives and will be greatly missed. He was loved deeply by each one of us.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
