LARCHWOOD - Phyllis Lundquist, 91, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999, at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls.
Phyllis Lenore Lundquist was born Jan. 1, 1908, in Rock Rapids. She lived with her grandmother until she was 15 and then moved to Gary, where her parents farmed. After graduating from Gary High School, she returned to the Larchwood area and worked on the family farm.
For 17 years, she worked at Master's Grocery Store, Larchwood, and later as a cook on the weekends at a nursing home in Rock Rapids. At age 65, she became site manager of the Dinner Date Program in Larchwood and worked there for 25 years.
She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Larchwood.
Survivors include three grandsons, and two great-grandchildren.
Services begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at United Church of Christ, Larchwood, with burial at Larchwood Cemetery.
