She Was The Loving Wife Of The Late Warren Stott Atkinson Sr. ; The Mother Of Mary Atkinson Fitzmorris, Betsy Atkinson Reid, Anne Keefe Atkinson, Warren Stott Atkinson Jr. And Alice Ruth Atkinson; Sister Of The Late Rita Keefe, Ruth Hecker, Lois Nutter And Jerry Keefe; Half-Sister Of The Late John Keefe, Lloyd Keefe And Edward Keefe; Sister-In-Law Of Lucy Keefe; Grandmother Of Emily, Clare And Warren Fitzmorris, Elizabeth, Catherine And Anne Reid; Benjamin, Sam And Michael Atkinson; Mother-In-Law Of Terrence W. Fitzmorris, Robert R. Reid Iii And Betsy Woods Atkinson. Leah Was A Pre- School Teacher For 30 Years At Bee English's Nursery School, Holy Name Of Jesus School And The Academy Of The Sacred Heart. She Touched The Lives Of So Many Children In Such A Loving Way. A Funeral Mass Will Be Held At Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. On Tuesday March 1, 2005 At 3:00 Pm. Visitation Will Begin At 12:00 O'clock Until The Time Of Mass. Interment Will Follow In Metairie Cemetery. In Lieu Of Flowers, Donations May Be Made To The Academy Of The Sacred Heart, Mater Campus, 4521 St. Charles Ave., N. O., La. 70115 And The Good Shepherd Nativity Mission School, 353 Baronne St., N.O., La 70122.
