Father of Ellen A., James Henry, Susan L. and raised Wesley Rhodes, the orphan of his farm hand John Rhodes(25) and wife Mary(23) who both died of "bilious fever" in Oct & Nov of 1880. Wesley's 2 yr old sister also died of croup within days of her parents.
Jordan remarried after Talitha's death to Julia V.
He died at home in Aline, Candler Co., Georgia from "Host Failure" at age 78 yrs 5mo 20 days.
His son James was my Great-Grandfather
