Even though her grave marker reads "Sarah Laurah" her name was "Sara Ann Laura" (no H's) and she was called "Analara". It was written in my birth book by her daughter Minnie, my grandmother. Analara was born April 1873 in Duval Co. FL, the 5th sibling and 3rd daughter of John Daniel Dukes and Eliza Ann LYNN. Her parents were not William Henry Dukes & Anna Eliza Jones. William & Anna's daughter, Sarah Laurah, was the one born in 1869 and she was their 1st child. John Daniel Dukes born 1831 was William Henry Dukes' oldest brother. Their parents were Joel & Sarah Laurah Kennedy Dukes. Each one of their 4 son's (John Daniel, Joel Edward, William Henry and Leander) named a daughter after their mother. "Sarah Laurah". That is why the confusion of which Sarah Laurah was which "Dukes" daughter.

Analara married on 21 Aug 1891 to James Henry Cribbs, son of Henry Jordan Cribbs & Talitha Ann Williams Cribbs
