Amy Orlene Green Gwin Wyatt was born on March 15, 1915 in Montgomery County, Arkansas and departed this life on Friday, August 2, 2013 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 98.

Amy, the daughter of George Rufus and Sallie Bell Johnson Green, was a long-time resident of Prague. Her family came to the Centerview area in 1924 in a covered wagon. She attended school at Turner which was located north of Pleasant Home and also Prague High School.

She was married to Claud L. Gwin on January 10, 1934 and he preceded her in death on May 4, 1986. She married Forrest Wyatt in Tahlequah on June 7, 1990 and he preceded her in death on May 25, 1998. Amy was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Prague and the Order of the Eastern Star. Her parents, two brothers, and one sister also preceded Amy in death.

Survivors include, nieces and nephews, Delmer L. Green of Collinsville, Faye Renegar of Shawnee, Dorsey Richmond of Texas; great-nieces, Jani Green of Tulsa, Suzie Easton of Tulsa, Kim Pearse of Prague, Jim and Donna Williams of Windermere, Florida, Nina Nichols of Denver, Colorado, Oleta Nichols Bright of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Doris Brown of Hot Springs, Arkansas; great-great nieces and nephews, Rev. John and Sharon Denney of Smithville, Missouri, Cindy Easton of Euless, Texas, Justin Pearse of Prague, Jordan Pearse of Prague, Shawn Nichols and his wife of Choctaw and a multitude of friends.

The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating.
