Services for Delma Alvora Custer, 91, a homemaker, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James "Cogo" Eads officiating. Burial will follow at the Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 -2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Delma was born in Stephenville, Texas, on April 24, 1922, to John Floyd and Nina (Hope) Eads. She married Plumlee Everett Custer on July 31, 1937, in Clovis, New Mexico. He preceded her in death in 2005. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her son, Randle Custer and wife, Lynda, of Tuscola; sister, Zelma "Tootsie" Dortch of Granbury; brother, John Eads, Jr., of Killeen; seven grandchildren, Dennis Smith, Pamela Esselstrom, Michele Coffman, Loretta Custer, Tynisa White, Lori Bissey, and Todd Parvin; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and many great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nina Hunter, and son-in-law, Jack Hunter, on June 26, 2005.
