Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at F.D. Sweet & Son Mortuary, 825 A St. in Orland for Annie Ruth Forrester who passed away April 12, 2006 at her residence in Orland, CA. Interment will be at Masonic Cemetery, Orland.
Annie Ruth was born September 21, 1912 in Corning, CA to Charles & Emily Ruth Harrison. She has lived her whole life in Orland. Annie was the granddaughter of one of the original founders of lake district, Jasper Harrison. She lived to write poetry and music. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors and Orland Eagles. She is survived by her children, Emilyann Edmond of Chicago, IL, Mary Roberts, Ramona Rogers both of Santa Rosa, CA, Charles Forrester of Chico, CA and Bonnie Hawkins of Vallejo, CA, 18 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 11 Great Great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John Paul II, July 5, 1988, son Jack in February 1990, and daughter Martha Ellen February 2, 1952.
