Mayme Bruce died: Sunday, August 22, 1948, at a Madison, WI hospital after a two yr. illness. She was born, Dec. 25, 1894, Antigo, Langlade Co., WI, a daughter of Ida and Mose Edward Langlois. In 1924, she married Joseph E. Bruce. In April of 1934, Bruce vs. Bennison and Lane was filed in Rock Co. in lieu of an automobile accident that accured where their son, Jack and others were injured. According to the January 28, 1946 issue of the Janesville Daily Gazette, Janesville, WI, Mayme and Joseph were divorced in January of 1946. She was survived by:
