Mr. Lowe was associated with his father, Art, in the operation of Art Lowe and Son, an auto-body, repair shop in the town. He was also a member of the United Commercial Travelers.
Besides his wife, Bernice, and his parents, Mr. Lowe has two brothers, Russell of Edmonton and Donnie, of Peace River. There is one sister, Mrs. J. Kelly, living in Brazil. Other relatives include his maternal grandmother, Mrs. M.. Inscho, of Peace River and his paternal grandfather, Mr. C. Lowe, in Edmonton.
Burial was at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Peace River. Funeral arrangements were made by Griep and Humphries.

Lawrence Arthur "Larry" Lowe, well known local business man and sportsman, died in Peace River Municipal Hospital on February 21 following a lengthy period of ill health. He was 31 years of age.
Born in Edmonton, he came to Peace River with his parents 13 years ago and for the past several years was associated with his father in business.
He was an active member of the local Fish and Game Association and was an ardent sportsman whose photographic records of Peace River country scenery have drawn high praise from numerous viewers.
Survivors are his wife, Beatrice and his parents, Mr. And Mrs. Arthur Lowe of Peace River; two brothers, Russel of Edmonton and Donald of Peace River; one sister, Mrs. Joyce Kelly in Brazil; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. M. Inscho of Peace River and his paternal grandfather, C. Lowe of Edmonton.
Funeral services for the late Mr. Lowe were held in St. Paul's United Church at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 24, conducted by Rev. R.C. Chubb. Burial was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
