After graduating from Macedonia School, he joined the U. S. Navy, serving from 1951 - 1955, during the Korean War. When honorably discharged in 1955, he began working at the Charleston Naval Shipyard while he served in the U. S. Navy Reserve. Caison and his wife, Jeanne); and his grandchildren (the apples of his eyes) Robert, Haley and Emily; his nieces - Marsha Powell and Theresa Hilton; a special great nephew, Phillip Amerson; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Roberta Fazenbaker.
