Levy Melvin Harrell, age 80, died Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lydia Jarman Harrell and Robert Melvin Harrell. Mr. Harrell owned and operated Levy Harrell's Store located on NC Highway 50 outside of Rose Hill for over twenty years.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 4, at 3:00 PM at Devotional Gardens, Warsaw.

Mr. Harrell is survived by his daughter Glenda Wadsworth and husband Robert of Wallace; sisters Lena Harper of Kenansville, Louise Pickett and husband Bobby of Beulaville; brothers James Harrell of Kenansville, Bobby Harrell and wife Janie Rae of Trenton.
