Robert O'Brien, vice president of the spirits division on Longhorn Liquors Ltd., died Thursday at a Fort Worth hospital.

A prayer wake will be at 3 pm Sunday at Harverson and Cole Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at noon Monday at St. Andrew Catholic Church and burial will be in Laurel Land Cemetery in Fort Worth.

O'Brien, a native of Yetter, Iowa and lived in Fort Worth for nearly 31 years.

He was a former Tarrant County commissioner for the Boy Scouts of America and a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. He was a World War II Air Corps veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Eve Yadro O'Brien of Fort Worth: his daughter, Paula O'Brien Bush; son-in-law Michael Bush of Fort Worth, his son; John Anthony O'Brien; and a sister, Mary Ellen Barnes of Taylorville, Ill.

Pallbearers: Jay Y. Bratcher, Frank Horak, Milton Wilkerson, Charles Morris, Larry Foster, Alex Stewart. Honorary Pallbearers: Bill Kielman, Dr. S. A. Holleman, Dr. Tom Kieuser, Dr. Jim Davidson, Dr. Robert W. Miley and The Associates of Longhorn Liquor, Ltd.

The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the Moncrief Radiation Center at All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth.
