Robert (Butch) Garbe, 63, passed away at Unity Hospice Jack and Engrid Meng Residence on Monday, May 9, 2011. He was born in Green Bay on Oct. 20, 1947, to the late Robert and Dorothy (Romain) Garbe.
He is survived by his fiance, Kathy Turnquist, Green Bay, the love of his life and their beloved dog, Angelo. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Garbe; Green Bay.
We are honoring Robert's request that there be no services. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, you might contribute to Unity Hospice or a charity of your choice. Robert would have liked that.
A grateful thank you is extended to the staff of St. Mary's Hospital, St. Vincent's Home Health Care and Unity Hospice. Robert received wonderful care by all who were involved. We would also like to thank all the relatives and friends for all their support, love and prayers.
As per Robert's wishes, there will not be any funeral services held. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the Garbe family at www.prokowall.com.
All the pain is finally over. Now you can rest. There is comfort in knowing that.
