Survived by his wife, Dorothy Mitchell Adams; two daughters, Shauna Penn and Rachel Davis; three sons, Bernard "Trey" Adams III, Gerald Rome Jr. and Courtney Rome; two sisters, Iris Johnson and Leslie Griffin; brother, Charles Adams Sr.; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Sr. and Pamella Weber Adams.
He was a member of Brookstown Society.
