Funeral services for Mr. Charles Collier Pigott, Jr., 87, will be held at Noon on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from the Crystal Springs Baptist Church. The Reverend Danny Stevens will officiate. Mr. Pigott, a resident of Billdora Senior Care Center, died there on Tuesday, June 11, 2013.

He was born March 13, 1926 in Tylertown, the son of the late Charles Collier Pigott, Sr. and Ollie Yarborough Pigott. He was retired from the United States Department of Agriculture. He was a member of Crystal Springs Baptist Church; a Mason; and a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Joyce Porche Pigott; one brother, Charles Sedgie Pigott; and three sisters: Gladys May; Wessie Reagan; and Grace Pittman.

Mr. Pigott is survived by one son Randall Ray Pigott, Sr. and wife, Rhonda of Tylertown. One daughter, Sandra Hill and fiancé', Gerald Singletary of Tylertown. Four grandchildren: Aimee Alford; Joni Guy; Robert Alford; and Randall Pigott, Jr. Seven Great-grandchildren: Karah and Kaden Vance; Marissa and Gracie Alford; Madison Guy; and Kaylee and Loran Pigott.

Pallbearers will be: Jimmy Lowery; Allen Reagan; Scott Luper; Shelton Stogner; Bill Sartin; and Jack Magee. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Mr. Pigott's Sunday School Class.

Burial will be in the Crystal Springs Cemetery with Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
