Born in New Bedford, the son of Lucille O. (Charron) Carrier of Dartmouth and the late Ramon A. Carrier, he lived in Dartmouth all of his life.
He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, New Bedford.
Bob was employed as a carpenter and an auto mechanic. He was a sports enthusiast.
Bob served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his mother; a brother, Alan Carrier of Dartmouth; four sisters, Michelle Murphy of Millis, Jeannine Johnson and Lynne Mastera, both of Dartmouth and Annette Carrier of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Saturday, September 8th at 8 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, Tarkiln Hill Rd. at 9 AM. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
