James Carlton "J.C." Ruttman

1919-2013

J.C. (James) Ruttman was born on August 7, 1919 and passed away on July 19, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marie Ruttman; daughter-in-laws Judy Ruttman and Jo Ross; sister-in-law Betty Cochran; his grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. J.C. worked for Transcon Freight Lines, putting many miles on the road over his 28 years. He enjoyed farming and spending time outdoors and loved old western movies; especially John Wayne films. He also loved spending time with his family and friends; serving as a mentor for Stephen Ross. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, a daughter, son and grandson. Funeral services for J.C. will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 22, 2013 at Matthews Funeral Home with interment following at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond, OK.
