HUBER, Harold Eugene. Age 88, of Naples, FL passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Frances Georgeson Hospice House. Harold was born to Frank Huber and Millie Grace Wieland on May 11, 1925 in Wauseon, OH. He has resided in the Naples area for the past 5 years after coming from Cincinnati, OH.

He was a Veteran of the United States Merchant Marines during WWII. Harold received a PHD in Chemistry from Ohio State University then was a Professor at Defiance College, a Pharmaceutical Researcher at Marion Merrell Dow Pharmaceutical and Vice President of Research & Development for Dura-med Pharmaceutical. Harold was preceded in death by his brother Edward and most recently by his Daughter-in-law Vera Huber earlier this year. Survivors include his loving wife Rose Mary; seven sons, Joe Huber of California, David (Marilyn) Huber of Illinois, Steven Huber of Ohio, Michael Huber of Indiana, James (Cookie) Huber of Ohio, Paul (Shannon) Huber of Florida and Matthew Huber of Ohio; three daughters, Lisa (David) McBreen of Ohio, Holley (Barry) Biniker of Ohio and Lorey (Kevin) Freeman of Oregon; and 16 grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church, 11144 Spinner Ave. Sharonville on Monday, June 24 at 10 AM where friends will be received from 9 AM until the time of the Mass. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
