Lyniel "Buddy" Huffman, 76 of Memphis passed away July 30, 2013. He was a member of Bartlett Baptist Church for 17 years, he was also in the Kingsman Sunday School class and was a member of the Woodsmen of the World. He served in the United States Army and was a retired accountant. Mr. Huffman was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Madeline Huffman; son Tim Auvenshine, sister, Frances Mullins, and two sons-in-law, Jerry Ballard and Mark Hopkins. He leaves behind his wife, Emma Huffman, daughters, Tommye Ballard, Beverly Abston (Gary), daughter-in-law, Tonya Auvenshine, 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 1 from 5-8 pm and services will be on Friday, August 2 at 2 pm all at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar Ave. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
