A native of Fletcher, NC, she was a daughter of the late Vernon and Dena (Mull) Lindsey.
She was a member of Landrum Freewill Baptist Church and a Clerk.
She is survived by a son, Tony Belue of Landrum; three daughters, Diane Belue Staton of East Flat Rock, Terry Belue of WV, and Becky McDowell of Hendersonville; a brother, Ralph Lindsey of Landrum; four sisters, Mary Ann Bland of Saluda, Susie Stepp of Hendersonville, JoAnn Siegfried of Landrum, and Shirley Lindsey of Boiling Springs, SC; eight grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Bud Lindsey.
The family received friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at Petty Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at Petty Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. John Smith.
Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
