He was a football coach before coming to Longview High School as a longtime educator of chemistry and physics.

Mr. London was a building contractor, rancher and Realtor. He loved to work outdoors, especially on his farm, hunting and fishing.

During World War II, Mr. London served his country by working in Oakridge, Tennessee, as a chemist on the development of a part which aided in the development of the atomic bomb.

His wife of 67 years, Nadine Buie London; one
grandson, Kevin L. Moore; 10 brothers; and one sister preceded him in death.
