Riordan, Lee Alexander Age 74 years. Found peace on December 8, 2000. Beloved husband for 22 years of Barbara (nee Zarnke). Loving father of Lee Jr., Stephen (Elizabeth), Lori Inman (Rick), all of Milwaukee. Dearest brother of Hugh D. Riordan (Jan) of Wichita, Kansas. Further survived by 11 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his first wife, Doris Schlueter and other relatives and friends. Lee was born May 8, 1926 to the late Hugh Leo Riordan and Tatiana Bachmanoff. He was a professional writer and also taught writing at Marquette University and MATC. He and his wife, Barbara, co-authored two books and numerous other articles and stories. Lee played football at and kept close ties with his beloved alma mater, Northwestern University. He will be very deeply missed by all. Remembrances in Lee's name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Attention-ADA Web, Box 96911, Washington, DC 20090-6911. A private Cremation and Memorial Gathering for the family were held. Special thanks to the St. Mary's Hospice staff for allowing Lee's final days to be peaceful and dignified.
