among that noble band of Patriots
whose skill and valor in the field of battle
during our struggle for National Independence
and whose Wisdon and Integerity
in the Council Chamber
where the principles were discussed
and the platform constructed
of the happiest government on earth
were the pride, the ornament
and the security of their Country
Having through a long Life, discharged the duties
of Husband, Father, and Friend.

He died in a good old age.
