Frances Barker, 77, of Elkton, Md., died Saturday, June 19, 1999, at Union Hospital in Elkton.
Mrs. Barker was born on Feb. 14, 1922, in Lebanon, Va. She was a homemaker and had worked at Triumph Industries and Glenn L. Martin Co. She was a member of Faith Southern Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Garnett W. Barker, formerly of Troutdale; one son, Tom Barker of Elkton; one daughter, Patsy Mendenhall of Elkton; two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 23, at Faith Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard L. Humphreys officiating. Burial was in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park in Elkton.
