Portal, GA - Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Gallagher Wisneski, age 62, died Sunday morning at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility. The Onslow County, NC native lived in Annandale, VA for many years and also in other cities in Virginia until moving to Palm Beach County, FL in 1978.
She was an educator for over 39 years and had been employed as a Special Education Teacher with the Palm Beach County School Board.
She moved to Bulloch County in April of this year to be near her daughter and family.
Mrs. Wisneski was preceded in death by her father, Charles Peter Gallagher, Sr.
Surviving are her husband, Albert Wisneski of Portal, GA; her mother, Elizabeth Goodell Gallagher of Ox Hill, VA; a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Ronald Waters of Portal; three grandchildren, Traci, Gina and Charlie Waters all of Portal; two brothers, C. Peter Gallagher, Jr. of Hernon, VA and Paul T. Gallagher of Fairfax, VA and four sisters, Peggy Campane of Blackcreek, MD, Patricia Boyle of Burke, VA Jean Doyle of Roanoke, VA and Mary Bergstrom, Sterling, VA.
Visitation will be Friday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00pm in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with Rev. Don Berry officiating. Burial will be private.
