Nathaniel Porter, on Tuesday, October 11, 1983 at 8:30 am, son of the late Ransom and Liza Porter. Beloved husband of Mrs. Emily Holden Porter. Father of two sons (living) and the late Lawrence Porter. Brother of two, father in law of one, and Uncle of four. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Law St., Baptist church, Asia Baptist church, Mount Moriah Baptist church, Pleasant Valley Baptist church, and all neighboring churches, Lawhite Benevolent Associations, ILA Local 1419, Brick Masons, Norman Parent Constructions co., employees of Carver high school cafeteria are invited to attend the funeral. Services from Law St Baptist church, on Friday October 15, 1983 at 9am. Remains will be forwarded to Mississippi for religious services at Shady Grove Baptist church. Interment in Shady Grove Baptist cemetery. Lockett Federal funeral home in charge of services.
