Bishop of the Farr West Ward, North Weber Stake, Utah, from 1892 to 1897, was born Oct. 31, 1834, in Halifax County, Virginia, a son of John A. McEntire and Elizabeth Dean. He was baptized May 21, 1868, came to Utah that year, and was ordained a High Priest and Bishop July 3, 1892, by Franklin D. Richards. He died Nov. 30, 1897, at Farr West.
