Born to Fred and Eva Pearl (Stoddard) Howard of Albion, Michigan.

He was married to Viola Elizabeth Blood on 13 Mar 1943 or 1945.

His sisters were Thelma Dorothy born 1904, Goldie Francis born 1909, and one brother Fred Emery Howard born 1911 all of whom born in Albion, Michigan.

Thelma was buried in Riverside Cemetery, Albion Michigan. Goldie was buried in Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia, Michigan. Fred was buried in River Valley Memorial Gardens, West Dundee, ILL.

I remember Uncle George being a voracious reader especially science, and exotic ports of call. He was extremily lucky in finding things.

Three things come to mind, (1) He used to walk alot especially alleys this time he found a banjo thrown in the trash with carring case, and extra picks. A professional entertainer offered him $120.00 and he refused saying, I wouldn't have the banjo if I sold. No, he didn't know how to play.

(2) One day while walking in the snow he came to an intersection and spotted a glove lying on the sidewalk, explaning to me that he ordinarily he wouldn't pickup only one glove, but this time he did. After the snow melted he was at the same corner and you guessed it he spotted the mate he had kept, and took the other one home.

Ok one more (3) Just before the Great Depression Uncle George took a chance and bought stock on a mink farm. Well the farm went belly up during the depression, but Uncle George hung to his precious stock. They found OIL on the farm property, and he received dividends for the rest of his, life, not much but fill up gas tank once a year.

His nephews are Mark, Hugh, and Donald Anderson of Michigan.

Elgin Illnois has nephew David, niece Debra aka Debbie (Howard) O'Callahan and various grand nephews and nieces.
