Florence G. Breon, 77, Bellefonte, died Friday, March 4, 2005, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. She was born Jan. 8, 1928, in Spring Township, Centre County, a daughter of the late Oliver M. and Helen E. Eckenroth Bitner. On Feb. 3, 1945, she married Laird E. Breon Sr., who preceded her in death July 21, 1982. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Breon was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, of Bellefonte. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, yard sales, reading and spending time with her family. She is survived by a daughter, Judy L. Bryan, of rural Bellefonte; four sons, Laird E. Jr., David M. Breon and Ronald O. Breon, all of rural Bellefonte, and Dennis M. Breon, of Howard; a sister, Lois J. Bickle, of Bellefonte; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Jane Dyke and Grace Powell; and two brothers, Paul Bitner and Harold Bitner. Funeral Tuesday at Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg, Rev. Frank E. Skies officiating. Burial in Trcziyulny Cemetery, Boggs Township. [Centre Daily]
