HORTENSE UNGER DIES ON FRIDAY

Well Known Resident of Gwynneville Passes Away at Daughter’s Home.

Mrs. Hortense Ash Unger died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lowell Myer, of Morristown, Friday evening at 8:45 o’clock.

The daughter of James and Elizabeth Thompson Ash, Mrs. Unger was born October 7, 1897. She was united in marriage to Clarence Under, son of Perry Unger, March 5, 1919. She lived most of her life in the Morristown and Fountaintown communities and a graduate of the Morristown High School.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Myer, at show home she died, and Mrs. Raymond Bush; three grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Scott of Finly.

She was a member of the Gwynneville E. U. B. church, and Order of Eastern Star.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Evangelical United Brethren church in Gwynneville, with interment in Asbury cemetery.

Announcement from Frazier Funeral Home, Morristown, state that friends may call at the home of Mrs. Myer any time after 6 o’clock Saturday evening.
