Many out-of-town persons were here Thursday morning for the funeral of Milton Gauntt, 44, which was held at the family home on East Corsicana street. The services were conducted by Rev. M.L. Fuller and Rev. D.R. Cartlidge, Rev. Frank Weedon, of Jacksonville, giving a prayer.

Two songs were rendered by a quartet composed of Mrs. Willie Bishop, Mrs. Calvin McWilliams, H.B. Hall and H.H. Pace. A large crowd attended the service at the home which was followed by interment in the city cemetery.

Those from out-of-town who attended the services included the following: Jim Broughton, Ed Broughton, Mrs. Charles White and Mrs. Byron Henry, Tyler; M.C. Dickson and Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Wilson, Corsicana; Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Adams and E.D. West, Mexia; Rev. Frank Weedon, Mrs. Sam Rix, Mrs. Tom Shanks, Mrs. A.G. Acker, Mrs. E.M. Averyt, Mrs. Earl Lattimore and Mr. and Mrs. William Miles, all of Jacksonville
