Susan Paulette (Roggy) Isenhower, 69, went home to God Saturday, July 20, 2013, peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Shaw Roggy and by her husband, Gerald R. Isenhower; now they are together again. Susan was a lifelong resident of Raytown, Mo., graduating from Raytown High School in 1961 where she played the flute in Band and later in the Kansas City Civic Symphony. She was a beautiful, magical, devoted wife and mother with many artistic talents. Susan loved gardening, cooking, sewing and painting. She later had a successful career in healthcare/insurance; retiring from Prudential. Susan greatly enjoyed time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Susan is survived by her sister, Karen Choate; her brother, Ronald Roggy and his wife Beulah; her brother, Bruce Roggy; four daughters, Paula Isenhower, Kari Isenhower, Lynette Isenhower Dooley and Mindy Potts and husband Billy; stepson, Greg Isenhower; three grandchildren, Brennen, Colin and Erin Dooley and four step- grandchildren, Alexandria and Emery Potts and Evan and Kenley Isenhower. A private service was held Friday with burial at Brooking Cemetery in Raytown. The family suggests memorial contributions to The American Cancer Society .
