Lillian A. Shattuck, 73, of Grayslake, Illinois, died suddenly Wednesday, July 30 at her home. She was born July 17, 1924 in Spring Grove, Illinois and was a lifelong resident of this area. Mrs. Shattuck was a former salesperson for Rudolph’s Furniture of Grayslake and had resided in Grayslake since 1950.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Michael) Shattuck-Prescott of Ingleside, Illinois and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Shattuck former Grayslake Chief of Police, in 1981, and by her 5 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services 11 AM Saturday August 2 at McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville. Interment Lakeside Cemetery. Interment Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation Friday 5-9 PM and Saturday 9-11 AM at the funeral home. If desired memorial contributions to Lake County Chapter of American Heart Association, 1117 S. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville, 60048 would be greatly appreciated.
