AJ Sparkman, Private, enlisted in Company K, 2nd South Carolina Infantry on May 22, 1861, age 26, 3rd Corporal November 1861, also mustered in with Brooks Artillery, upon organization January 28, 1862, died March 20, 1862 of Typhoid fever.
