Betty Lou Cheney Ferber, 78, of Oak Ridge, died Saturday, July 19, 1997, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
She was born Sept. 10, 1918, in Indianola, Ill., the daughter of Lester Cheney and Lula M. McKee Cheney.
She was a member of First Methodist Church in Fairmount, Ill.
In addition to her local son, Mrs. Ferber is survived by a daughter, Beth Harper of Longview, Ill.; a sister, Lorraine Olsen of Milford, Ill.; four grandsons, Brad Corbin, Craig Corbin, Austin Ferber and Aaron Ferber; and by two great-granddaughters, Ashley Corbin and Amber Corbin.
A great-grandson, Andre Corbin, died earlier.
