Georgia A. Huber, age 78, of 134 W. Reed Street, Marcellus, died suddenly early Monday morning, January 17, 1972 at her home. She was born December 27, 1893 in Marcellus Township, the daughter of Kersey and Margaret (Munn) Huber. Before retiring in 1957, she was employed by S. Stern and Co. in Marcellus for 34 years. She was a former Village and Township Treasurer. She was a member of L'Allegro Club and was the area correspondent for the Kalamazoo Gazette and the South Bend Tribune. Surviving are 1 sister, Mrs. Vaughn (Florence) Bartlett and several cousins. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, January 19 at 2 p.m. in the Romig Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Ludman of the Marcellus United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Marcellus Cemetery.
