Shirley Ann Mixell, 69, of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania died in her home on Thursday, July 21, 2005. Born on March 3, 1936, in Greene Township, she was the daughter of Alvah Stockslager of Fayetteville and the late Hazel (Farner) Stockslager.

Shirley was an active member of Mt. Pleasant United Brethren Church. Retired since 1988, she had been employed with Letterkenny Army Depot as a program analyst.

She is survived by her husband, Sheldon L. "Shelly" Mixell, whom she married on Sept. 24, 1955; one son, Greg A. Mixell of Chambersburg; two grandsons, Jason A. (and wife Priscilla) Mixell, and Ryan K. Mixell (and fiancé Evie S. Wagner); four great-grandchildren, Garrett, Levi, Cheyanne and Kelby Mixell, all of Fayetteville; one brother, Alvin (and wife Linda) Stockslager, of Camp Hill. Aside from her mother, she was preceded in death by one brother, Roger L. Stockslager.
