Kathryn S. Campbell was a native of Hartwell, Georgia having made Jackson her home for the past 55 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson, the Philathea Sunday School Class and a retired Supervisor in the Medical Billing Department at University Hospital. During World War II, she worked at the Oakridge Nuclear Facility, Oakridge, TN. Mrs. Campbell was the wife of the late Mr. Edgar Lafell Campbell, Sr. Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, Ed and Linda Campbell, Richmond Hill, GA and Philip and Debbie Campbell, Snellville, GA; four grandchildren, Melissa Young, Natalie Mead, Dr. Joshua Campbell and Justin Campbell; two great grandchildren, Jeremiah Young and Sarah Young; a sister, Emma Ann Jancarek, Mt. Juliet, TN; a brother, Marvin Shiflet, Hartwell, GA; a sister-in-law, Louise Shiflet, Hampton, GA.
Interment in Southlawn Cemetery.
