Mary Ellen Jory of Eugene died Aug. 26 of age-related causes. She was 94.
Mary was born July 25, 1910, in Balto, Md. She married William H. Jory Jr. in Baltimore in 1930. He died in 1997.
She lived in Gibson Island, Md., for 40 years before moving to Eugene in 1984.
She was a member of the Gibson Island Garden Club.
Survivors include a son, William III of Eugene; and seven grandchildren.
Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene was in charge of arrangements.
