She was born November 30, 1934 in Arkinda Ar. to Walter Gordon and Lena Jane Dollarhide Stewart.
Dorothy was the most simplest person anyone every knew, she enjoyed watching tv, her bird and being around her grandkids who will miss her dearly.
Preceded her in death are her parents, husband John Sandifer and two brothers George Stewart and Walter Stewart Jr.
She is survived by two sons; John Bates (Beth), Roy Bates (Pam), four daughters; Leoma Hall, Linda Reeder (Robert), Diane Ponder (Steve), Donna Haynes (Richard) and two brothers; Orvelle Stewart and Charles Stewart, 7 step-children, 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Perry's Funeral Chapels
Graveside services will be held Friday, July 26, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Pate Cemetery with Bro. Bob Inman officiating under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels
