Essie Blondell Williams was born July 1, 1927 in Ramer, TN, the daughter of the late Tidwell W. and Minnie Bell Howell Nethery.

She was united in marriage to Henry Prince Williams on February 22, 1947. Mr. Williams preceded her in death on February 10, 1995. She attended the Living Waters Fellowship Church. She had worked for Brown Shoe Company, ITT, Henco all in Selmer and was a homemaker who raised seven children, and loved her family.

Mrs. Williams departed this life on December 29, 2014 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 87 Years, 5 Months, 28 Days.

She is survived by her children: Harold P. Williams, James R. Williams, Michael L. Williams, David R. Williams and Judith Dell Hodum; 11 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 13 and a half great grandchildren; 9 step great granchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by a son, Teddy Williams; her siblings: Wilford Nethery, Malaline Nethery Smith and Elmo Nethery Hogeland.
