Ottilie Dostal was born in Slatina, Kralove, Hradec, Bohemia 1860. She married Frank Joseph Citta, Jr, in Slatina in 1878.
They arrived in New York City, NY on October 3, 1882 on the ship "Rhein", leaving Bohemia in September 1882, and voyage from Bremen, Germany September 11, 1882.
They then migrated to the area of Omaha, NE. They had 9 children, 2 of whom died in infancy, Marie, April 1887 - July 1887, and Emily, October 1888 - February 1889.
In the 1893 Omaha City Directory, Frank and Ottilie "Barbara" Citta resided on South 23rd Street in Omaha, and Frank was a laborer for the G H Hammond Co. By the census of 1900, the couple resided in Sarpy County, Bellevue Precint, and were farming in that area. Ottilie was listed as 'wife' and no other occupation.
The 1910 census has the family residing in Douglas County Nebraska, and own their own property, with Frank occupation of Farmer under industry of Truck Farm, and wife Ottilie, no occupation. There were six children still living at home in 1910.
Ottilie, also known as "Tillie" or "Barbara", died in January 1911.
